Oracle 8i Database Administrator (Solaris/Linux Platforms).  In charge of administering 
and maintaining RSN's production web content, reporting, and development Oracle 
databases.  Responsibilities include Oracle database and Oracle Enterprise Manager 
installation and configuration, performance monitoring and tuning, backup and recovery 
tasks, PL/SQL development, data model and schema design, and developing automated 
data processing subsystems. Experienced with Sqlldr, Perl, and Tcl.

Web Software Engineer.  Primarily responsible for backend web systems development, 
staging-operations, and inbound syndication and data processing in conjunction with the 
deployment of a web site early spring 2000. This work included the setup and operation 
of a version control system (CVS), multi-virtual host staging / development environment, 
and a failsafe distribution system for non-version controlled site content. Additional 
duties included general site administration, database maintenance (MySQL), and security 
monitoring and intrusion detection.

Specialized in Unix System Administration, Operating System (NT, BSDI, FreeBSD, 
Linux, Windows) installation, configuration, upgrading, and maintenance, custom CGI 
programming with an emphasis on Web / Database integration and backend 
administrative interfaces, System and Network Security and intrusion detection, Network 
Monitoring (SNMP, etc.), and implementation of special projects such as an web-based 
alpha-numeric paging system, automated fax/paging system, Internet Firewall
